Ants from my parents bush block

December 29, 2015 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

Recently, my parents bush block was in a bushfire. It burned everything. The old cars we used to bush bash. The shed we slept in. Everything. You can see the first set of images here.
Interestingly, though, there are still signs of life at the property. Especially ants. Sethy was trying to catch yabbies near the dam and I spent the whole time just photographing the ants.
I’m really impressed with how the photos turned out, especially since I don’t really know what I’m doing.
I’ve given up trying to learn the names of all the critters I’m seeing when I’m adventuring. At this point, it is just too overwhelming. I’ll still push ahead and try and get photos of everything though 🙂
