Birthday visit to Urquhart Bluff

August 10, 2015 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

Last year, I did a trip down the Surf Coast and to the Otways for my birthday. I am in love with the area and wanted to visit the areas that I couldn’t get to.

The weather was unpleasant. Dad saw that I was upset so we pulled over at a lookout. This was the view:

We walked down to the bottom and came across these amazing rock formations. The colours were truly stunning. Looking online, I’ve struggled to find any information about why these are red. I’d love to learn more if you have any information.
