Dad has been taking the back way through Maude and Steigletz lately when doing to the property. Part of the reason is due to beautiful lookouts and camping groups to stop at.

We had gone past this display multiple times when we decided to finally stop and get some photos. It was so awesome to see up close. It looks like a lot of work has gone into it and always make me smile 🙂

The new two-lane bridge is now open on Meredith-Steiglitz Road. This replaces the former single-lane bridge. Dad knows I love documenting changes (see Geelong Street Photography for proof of that obsession!) and stopped so I could quickly get a pic.

It was mid July. My parents were in the area to check out a puppy breeder and they invited me to see with them. I had an ulterior motive – I wanted to see the giant worm in Bass. Alas, I had to settle for my parents photos when they returned to pick up the dog.

We had a short time to spend exploring. It was the day after a whale watching weekend so I suggested we look at Cape Woolami. It was a known area for whale watching and was close to the main road.
