I found this plant at the property recently. I’m not sure what it is, but it reminds of an orchid. The photo quality wasn’t good enough for a proper identification.

Galls At The Property
Galls fascinate me. I even review the book Life In A Gall for my book review website.
These pictures are from several trips to the property in 2020. The images are from about 3-4 different trees. I don’t know if they are the same species, nor if the trees are even the same species. This is something that I would love to research for fun. It would be fascinating to try and discover what species lives inside each gall.
I’m hoping to do that in the future. In the meantime, I’ll just continue photographing the many different types I see.
Checking Out The Lal Lal Wind Farm
Dad was driving to the property recently when he decided to take a detour to Lal Lal. We had previously seen signs of the wind farm that was being constructed and decided to get a proper look.
Was fascinating getting close and seeing just how big they were. Hope to see more of them in regional Victoria.
