Cute Grasshoppers Eating

August 17, 2016 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

These photos were taking in April, 2016.

It’s becoming quite clear that grasshoppers fascinate me. Which also sucks, as there are far too many groups of animals that intrigue me and I really need to stop watching/learning and focus on creating an income!

Personal concerns aside, I’m quite fond of these photos. I think the faces and body structures are quite intriguing and something I really hope to learn more about 🙂 I’m currently rearranging the garden – getting rid of the weeds and putting in beautiful herbs/plants so will see how the critters change.

The below pair is a bit different – they were mating for at least a couple of hours! Good on them. Didn’t stop the female from getting on with her life, including eating these flowers. I’ve been looking for them again in the past few days without much luck. Very keen to learn more about their behaviour
