Hungry Wingless Grasshopper

April 16, 2016 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

On Friday, I photographed three wingless grasshoppers walking around the garden. Garden is an overstatement – there are a bunch of weeds I’ve been meaning to permanently remove for a while.

I was watching a group of wingless grasshoppers when I noticed one of them seeming to eat. It was fascinating watching it’s antennae move around. I’ve been trying to ID more grasshoppers and locusts lately; it’s actually quite difficult!
