Macro Fun at Buckley Falls

December 7, 2015 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

Yesterday, Sethy and I went to Buckley Falls. I was focusing on birds but I was also testing out my macro lens. Sethy, meanwhile, was focusing on catching skinks.

I think we had a pretty food run. I was able to get a few critters – and get them all identified – although nothing particularly stands out.

The above is a metallic shield bug. So many different types of shield bugs. Never noticed them before!

This post is a bit of a quicky, especially with all the other adventuring I’ve been doing lately. I just wanted to share a different environment, just in case it helps anyone.
