More cormorant feeding action

November 30, 2015 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

The cormorant chicks are certainly growing up fast. They are demanding feeding regularly. This can lead to some awesome photos, if you are patient enough.

It has been rather difficult to get a good shot, due to all the leaves and branches in the way. I’ve failed to capture just how far the chicks head seems to go up the parents mouth.

Despite all the feeding and number of chicks, I’m STILL noticing birds courting and nest building. I’m going to stop photographing it all after the current breeding cycle ends.
