Nesting Little Black Cormorants

January 8, 2016 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

I spent morning at mums after going to Queenscliff the day before. I really wanted to check on the progress of the little black cormorant nests. Curiously, I didn’t see any eggs on two of the nests. I suspect there may be some on a third nest but I couldn’t see that much.

It was a bit of a relief, as it gives me a couple of weeks before I need to start another long term photography project 🙂 I still loved getting a closer look at them. I love the breeding plumage.

Tomorrow I’m going to the Otways with Caroline. Will be interesting to see what we can find! 🙂
