It was the last day of our trip. I was very keen to come here and check out the fungi. It was a little bit damp but I still decided to explore the hidden path.
I later regretted that. There was a slightly dip that I tried to carefully cross. Instead, I fell flat on my arse. I was lucky; I didn’t damage the camera nor hurt myself. Just had mud on my bum. It was one those times when you wish someone else was there to witness it. 🙂
Fungi
Moss and Lichen
Birds
Yellow Faced Honeyeater
Olive Whistler
Not 100% sure this is an olive whistler but it does seem the most likely. It’s so annoying. I worked really hard to find one at Blanket Bay, only to encounter one by accident later in the walk. I’ve been visiting here for years and hadn’t seen one before. I guess there are just a lot of variables I need to visit this particular patch more often to understand the bird behaviour.
