Recently, my parents got people in to clear up the property. They’d had enough time to figure out which trees were truly dead and it had needed a good clean up anyway.
We got to go there the day after they’d finished work and it looked.. different.
We have a proper road in now, which will definitely help. The lack of leaf litter means it gets so muddy.
Where the shed was. It’s all gone now.
Playing with lens flare on my Nikon. Glenn had the Canon and I could notice the difference.
It did make it easier to see sundew. I’m not sure if we have more then one species here. A friend said it looks like drosera whittakeri, which is interesting as the flowers are here a couple of months earlier then usual. The googling lead me to this website , which looks awesome.
More growth.

I need better boots if I’m going to go up here again. Plus ribbon or a map/GPS app to note where the good fungi are. And a good book on how areas recover from bushfires.
