Regrowth along the Great Ocean Road

April 10, 2016 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

I first posted about the impact of the bushfires along the Great Ocean Road two months ago. It was incredibly confronting.

It was reassuring to see the regrowth on this visit during our Apollo Bay trip. It was an interesting contrast to the regrowth at the property. I’d be curious to see both areas up close again, but need to be respectful. Hopefully someone somewhere is getting up to nature nerdery. The birds certainly seemed to be returning at Kennett River.

The Lorne Sculpture Festival

We visited the lorne sculture festival at both Wye River and Lorne on the way back. The Wye River section, though, was incredibly confronting. It reminded mum so much of what we had seen at the bush block.
