It wasn’t just us for this trip to Apollo Bay. My aunt, who owns the holiday house there, joined us to show mum (and the rest of us) some awesome spots to find seashells. One day, we were driving past Wild Dog Creek and suggested that we should look there.
Soon enough, we were there having an explore! The seashells weren’t as good as other locations but man, the sea anemones made it worth it.
It is difficult to identify sea anemones without dissecting them, so I have only been able to identify them to genus level. (Thanks to a FNCV member.) Even then, most of them belong to the same group.
I’ve tried to group them by colour, although there are always variations. This was one of the times though when the new GoPro really helped out!
Will definitely be returning here, and paying more attention to these guys.
