Sponges at Pirates Cove

July 15, 2020 by Jade Craven

My favourite at Pirates Cove wasn’t the shells, but the sheer amount of sponges that had washed up. There was so many different varieties and textures.

These photos focus on the different types that I had found. In the future, I’d love to get more artistic photos where I muck around with the lighting. I’m not sure whether these are good enough for identification, although I doubt you’d be able to go to species. It’s something I will monitor for future trips.
