Returning To The Property: 20 Months On

October 11, 2017 by Jade Craven Leave a Comment

I hadn’t gone to the property in over a year. Like with many things, the motivation was there but my health didn’t want to comply. So, last week, I quickly said yes when offered the chance to return.

It was so awesome to see the difference another year made. Last visit, the ground was still very brown even though moss was returning in some of the damper areas. This time there was so much greenery, even if it was at the lower level. There was small shrubs, wildflowers, grasses and even the pesky bracken. Even the insects and birds seemed more active – however this could also have been due to the fact it was sunny instead of raining!
