The Ascidian Project

In July, 2020, my family discovered an interesting lifeform in the harbour of Apollo Bay. I posted it on Facebook for identification and most of the photos were identified as Botryllus schlosseri. One, however, looked different.

I was asked to collect a specimen, which I was unable to do due to Covid-19. I was also asked to keep an eye on the colony.
