Winter Fungi at Paradise Picnic Ground

July 14, 2020 by Jade Craven

The main reason for going to Paradise this trip was to check out the fungi. We had been so impressed with the ones we had found at Maits Rest and were certain that we would have similar luck.

I didn’t think it was as good as it has been on previous visits, however it’s always worth checking. There was a decent variety in the areas we checked, most of which was found by Sethy.

The photos themselves are mediocre. I didn’t want to take the digital camera in such wet conditions and my smartphone has cracks that have damaged the camera. It’s especially noticeable in poor lighting conditions. I think we did a good job considering 🙂
